Bouncers Farm is well placed for the use of green sustainable transport. Wickham Bishops is well supported by cycle routes, supported by Sustran. The organisation SUSTRAN is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity. SUSTRANS vision “is a world in which people can choose to travel in ways that benefit their health and the environment”.

The campsite is accessed via the farm entrance at Bouncers Farm and car parking is situated just within the farm gates in a discreet position by the old packing sheds. Visitors’ cars are left here and the remainder of the site is accessed by foot (using barrows for larger cases, shopping etc. The ground is level, laid to grass and slopes gently to the south. Disabled access to the site is available given the limitations of a farm site laid to grass.

For those who wish to use sustainable transport they can arrive in Witham by train then cycle along the Blackwater Rail Trail to Bouncers Farm, Wickham Bishops, 3.5 miles distance. From Bouncers there are numerous cycle routes / footpaths to Maldon and surrounding villages.

Wickham Bishops is well serviced by Rail with stations at Witham and Hatfield Peverel with connections by bus. Bus service – a variety of local services serve the district, with regular direct bus links to Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree. Stansted and Southend Airport have relatively easy public transport links to Maldon District.

Wickham Bishops is fortunate enough to be blessed with a network of footpaths enabling the holiday maker to reach Maldon and Chelmsford without needing to use the highway. Cycle routes maintained by Essex County council along the Maldon – Chelmsford Navigation and the Blackwater Rail track connecting Witham to Maldon enable the use of green sustained transport.

East Anglian Farm Rides promotes the use of farm land for the horse rider. From Wickham Bishops there are rides connecting Maldon, Tiptree, Witham, Kelvedon to name but a few. The provision of carriage driving further enhances the attraction of Bouncers to the visitor.
